Henry + Dow Acclaimed Trial Attorney Shane Henry Presents to the Payne and Tulsa County Bar Associations on Trial Techniques and Opening Statements

On February 13, 2019 Attorney Shane Henry gave a presentation on Trial Techniques at the monthly Payne County Bar Association. As an acclaimed trial attorney and founding partner of Henry + Dow Trial Lawyers in Tulsa, Mr. Henry’s thorough and clear presentation gave listeners insight into detailed tactics, awareness, and techniques for any given trial.

Assistant General Counsel for the Oklahoma State University Foundation Ashley Roche was in attendance of the meeting, and said, “that was one of the best CLE’s we have had.”

Throughout the presentation, Mr. Henry made reference to several books and outside sources including The Science of Cross Examination by Roger Dodd and Becoming a Trial Lawyer by Rick Friedman, both of which served as excellent resources for listeners to turn to even after the presentation was complete.

Similarly, on February 21, 2019, Mr. Henry shared his acumen on the topic of Opening Statements at the monthly meeting of the Tulsa County Bar Association. Henry covered topics such as fear, body language & movement, brevity and connection, just to name a few of the principal aspects of an opening statement. With clever and concise remarks and thought-provoking examples, Mr. Henry effectively communicated the need and importance of opening statements in trials.
